She completed her dietetic internship training at Atrium Health and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master’s Degree in Nutrition, from Appalachian State University. Her professional background has included roles in both outpatient and clinical nutrition care.
She has always embraced a holistic and flexible approach to food but discovered intuitive eating after her training at the Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders. As an undergraduate student and dietetic technician, she developed a passion for helping others heal their relationships with food using an intuitive eating, anti-diet approach.
Sarah believes everyone can have a renewed relationship with food that leans into curiosity and internal wisdom and withdraws from rigidity and rules. She is passionate about creating a judgement free, collaborative space for you to unpack your beliefs about your body and relationship with food.
In her free time Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband Sam, their German Shepherd, and their two bunnies. She’s also always enjoyed cooking and loves cooking for others and finding new foods to try!
